Visakhapatnam, Nov 14 (IANS): Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday said the world has much to gain by partnering with India, as the country continues strengthening global economic linkages that ensure shared prosperity. Speaking at the Vizag CII Partnership Summit in the presence of Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Goyal said Bharat’s strategy in a changing geo-economic landscape is rooted in technology-driven growth, trust built on righteousness, and trade powered by capability.
Highlighting three key recommendations to deepen global cooperation, he called for promoting two-way investments, expanding technology partnerships, and building long-term trust between nations. India’s growth story under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, is anchored in trust, transparency, innovation, and inclusion.
Goyal noted that India aims to become a fully developed nation where every citizen enjoys a high quality of life. He praised Visakhapatnam for evolving into a global trade hub that blends heritage with modern innovation, and stressed the importance of transparent governance and predictable policies to sustain investor confidence.
Chief Minister Naidu said India is emerging as a preferred investment destination, with Andhra Pradesh serving as a strategic gateway on the east coast. State Minister Nara Lokesh added that the government’s commitment and reform-driven approach ensure an environment where businesses can succeed and thrive.
